When you hear the words easy run, usually what comes to mind is a slow jog for a short distance, right? Well, easy run can be a lot more than that. The purpose of the easy run is recovery. After a hard run you usually need rest the next day, but you do not want to just be sitting around because you will loose momentum in the weeks workouts.

The first option for an easy run is, in fact, a slow pace and a short distance. But what fun is that? There are many other fun and interesting ways to have a good recovery day. Below is a list of some of these things:
