The speed bag is yet another useful tool in the boxers training arsenal. Everyone has seen a speed bag; you know, those small, tear drop-shaped bags hanging from a platform that the boxer punches at fast speeds. Well, it is harder than it look.

The purpose of the speed bag, obviously, is to help build ones speed. The more you work with the speed bag, the faster your hands will get.

However, the speed bag is not just for smacking around repeatedly. You can also use it to practice your combinations.
