+ Medicine Ball

Many boxers use medicine balls in their routines. Using a medicine ball in your workout can add intensity to your daily routine. Below is a list of medicine ball workouts that will get you into great shape.

Balancing tricep push-ups:
1. With the medicine ball on the ground, get in a regular push-up position with your hands on top of the ball. Your hands should be very close together.

2. Do the normal push-up movement.

Alternating push-ups:
1. In a pushup position, put one hand on the medicine ball and the other on the ground.

2. Do a pushup in this position, and then switch hands.

Oblique medicine ball sit-ups:
1. Sit on the ground with your body in a V position.

2. With a medicine ball in your hands, touch the medicine ball to the ground to the left and right of you (your upper body should be rotating).

Overhead sit-ups:
1. Simply do sit-ups, only keep a medicine ball raised above your head.

Decline oblique medicine ball sit-ups:
1. Same as oblique medicine ball sit-ups, only on a decline bench.
