When it comes to fighting, or competing in registered bouts, it is important to know if you are ready to fight or not. If you have been training your ass off, and you have been running and doing all of your drills, and ESPECIALLY if you have been sparring at least twice a week, than you are ready. However, even if you have done all of these things and you do not think you are ready, than do not fight.

The most important thing about fighting is confidence, on top of all your training of course. After you realize you are in great shape, and you want to fight, you have to have confidence in your ability.

Street Fighting

When it comes to street fighting, boxing can be very useful in self-defense. HOWEVER, there is one very important thing to remember about self-defense and boxing. Boxing is a standing sport, meaning once you are wrestling around on the ground, boxing is completely useless.
